IFAD Motors celebrates Royal Enfield’s first anniversary
IFAD Motors has celebrated the first anniversary of the commercial operations of Royal Enfield, the global leader in the mid-size (250cc-750cc) motorcycle segment.
To mark the anniversary, the company launched two new motorcycle models -- the Classic 350 and the Meteor 350, according to a press release.
Taskeen Ahmed, group vice-chairman of IFAD Motors, inaugurated the motorcycles at a function recently held in Dhaka.
Speaking on the occasion, Ahmed said, “Completing one year in Bangladesh is a significant milestone for us. The overwhelming response from riders and enthusiasts has generated even greater excitement around the brand.
“The anniversary editions of the Classic 350 and the expanded Meteor 350 line-up are our way of celebrating the country’s growing riding culture, while reaffirming our commitment to delivering a pure motorcycling experience,” he added.
The limited-run Classic 350 is available in a range of colours named after popular cities and landmarks, including Dhaka Amber, Comilla Black, Rajshahi Red and Sundarban Green.
The Meteor 350 will be offered in four variants -- Fireball, Stellar, Aurora and Supernova -- across seven striking colour schemes, catering to a wide range of riding preferences.
Both models are powered by Royal Enfield’s proven J-series 350cc engine, known for its smooth performance, refined ride quality and everyday usability, making them suitable for both urban commuting and long-distance touring.
Iftekhar Ahmed Tipu, chairman of IFAD Group, and Reazul Haque Chowdhury, group managing director, along with directors and invited guests from corporate houses, banks, members of the biking community and Royal Enfield riders, were also present in the ceremony.
