Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau make first public appearance as a couple in Paris
Pop superstar Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have officially gone public with their relationship. The pair were spotted in Paris on October 25, celebrating Perry's 41st birthday with a night out at the iconic Crazy Horse cabaret.
According to TMZ, the couple looked cheerful as they left the venue hand in hand — Perry dazzling in a bold red dress, while Trudeau opted for a sleek all-black outfit.
Rumours of a romance between the singer and the politician first surfaced over the summer when they were seen dining together in Montreal. At the time, Perry had recently separated from actor Orlando Bloom, while Trudeau had announced his split from wife Sophie Grégoire in 2023 after 18 years of marriage.
Their relationship appeared to heat up in September, when paparazzi captured the two sharing a kiss aboard a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara. A source later told People magazine that Trudeau had been "pursuing" the Grammy-winning artist since their first date in Montreal, even flying to California during her tour break. "They have an easy connection. She finds him attractive. He's been very respectful," the source said.
Perry is currently touring the world on her 'Lifetimes Tour' in support of her latest album, 143. The global tour, which began in Mexico City in April, has since included stops across the United States, Canada, and Australia, with Trudeau reportedly attending her Montreal concert earlier this year.
As Perry celebrated her birthday, she shared a playful Instagram Story referencing a tweet that read, "Mary Perry released Katy Perry," comparing her birth to one of her album drops. Earlier in the week, she had also marked the start of Scorpio season, writing, "We have officially entered Scorpio szn ♏️."
