DSE dips, CSE slightly up

The prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) edged down today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, lost 6 points, or 0.1 per cent, to 6,358 at 11:40 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 329 crore.

Of the securities, 59 advanced, 114 declined and 142 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, gained 7 points, or 0.03 per cent, to 18,687.

Of the issues, 31 rose, 59 retreated, and 42 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 3.5 crore at 11:40 am.
