Tk 300 wage or nothing!

The tea garden workers of Sylhet and Chattogram have organised a protest demanding a daily wage of Tk 300. Through this 15-day-long movement, they have been attempting to be freed of hundreds of years of deprivation and oppression. All they demand is a minimum, liveable wage. So why is it so impossible to fulfill this legitimate demand?
