BPL 12 fixtures announced: Hosts Sylhet take on Rajshahi in tournament opener

The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) governing council has released the fixtures for the upcoming 12th edition of the tournament, which is set to begin in Sylhet on December 26. The final is scheduled for January 23 in Dhaka, with January 24 kept as the reserve day. This year's BPL will be played across three phases in Sylhet, Chattogram, and Dhaka.

On the opening day, Sylhet Titans will face Rajshahi Warriors in the day match, while Noakhali Express take on Chattogram Royals in the evening fixture.

The Sylhet phase will end on January 2, followed by two rest or travel days before the Chattogram phase begins on January 5 and runs until January 12. The tournament then shifts to Dhaka for the final phase starting January 15 and concluding with the final.

There will be rest days after every two match days, while two dedicated travel days have been allocated after each phase.

On weekdays, day matches will begin at 1 pm and evening matches at 6 pm. On Fridays, day matches are scheduled for 2 pm and evening fixtures for 7 pm.
