BPL 12 final phase kicks off in Dhaka on January 15

The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 12 now shifts to Dhaka for its decisive phase, with the league resuming on Thursday. The final stretch promises high-stakes action as teams battle for the remaining playoff spot.

Rajshahi Warriors sealed their place (12 points) in the playoffs with a commanding seven-wicket win over Dhaka Capitals in the last match of the Sylhet phase on Monday. The victory also confirmed qualification for Chattogram Royals and Sylhet Titans—both sitting comfortably on 10 points.

The defeat dealt a major blow to Dhaka Capitals, who have just four points from eight matches. To stay alive, they must win both of their remaining games in Dhaka and hope other results go in their favour. Rangpur Riders (8 points), Dhaka Capitals (4 points), and Noakhali Express (4 points) remain in contention for the final playoff berth.

The Dhaka phase opens with Noakhali Express facing Chattogram Royals, followed by Rajshahi Warriors taking on Sylhet Titans later in the day. The Eliminator and Qualifier 1 will be held on January 19, Qualifier 2 on January 21, and the grand finale is scheduled for January 23.
