Citizens Bank backs Dhaka University for international basketball tournament

Citizens Bank PLC has stepped up to support the Dhaka University basketball team as they gear up for the Men's International Basketball Championship in Kathmandu, Nepal.

In a recent ceremony, the bank's managing director & CEO, Mohammad Masoom, handed over a sponsorship cheque to the vice-chancellor of the University of Dhaka, professor Niaz Ahmed Khan, according to a press release issued on Monday.

The event saw the presence of high officials from both organisations, along with representatives of the basketball team.
