Acclaimed television personality and director Hanif Sanket is set to bring a new television drama this Eid, continuing his long-standing tradition of presenting a special production alongside the festive edition of the popular programme “Ityadi”.

Titled “Bhalobeshe Obosheshe”, the drama stars Jannatul Sumaiya Heme and Irfan Sajjad in lead roles.
The story centres on Rana and Neela, two childhood friends who grew up together in the same village and were known for their playful quarrels.

As life unfolds, Neela leaves the country to pursue her studies abroad. Years later, she returns to Bangladesh and visits her village with her parents. There, she unexpectedly meets Rana, her childhood companion, setting off a series of events that shape the narrative of the drama.

Actor Irfan Sajjad portrays Rana, while Heme appears as Neela.
The drama also features performances by veteran actors Shahiduzzaman Selim, Munmun Ahmed, Arfan Ahmed, and Subhashis Bhowmik in important roles. Additional cast members include Suchona Shikder, Nazrul Islam, Zahid Chowdhury, Hedayet Nannu, and Nur-e-Alam Nayan, among others.

“Bhalobeshe Obosheshe” is scheduled to air on ATN Bangla at 8:50pm on Eid day.
Sanket, best known for creating and hosting “Ityadi”, has long been recognised for blending entertainment with social commentary in his television work. His Eid productions, often released alongside the festive broadcast of the programme, have become a familiar feature of Bangladeshi television.
