Dhaka strongly condemns Paris attacks
President Md Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Paris that killed 140 people and left many others injured.
In separate messages, the president and the prime minister also expressed deep condolence to the family members of the victims.
Hamid prayed for eternal peace for those who lost their lives and for early recovery of the injured, reports UNB.
Meanwhile, in her message to French President Francois Hollande, Hasina said, "I along with the people of Bangladesh strongly condemn these acts of terror and stand in solidarity with the people and the government of France".
The prime minister also said terrorists are terrorists irrespective of their colour, creed or religion and must have no place in any civilised society.
"We're together in our fight against terrorism and violent extremism," she said.
