Litton surpasses Riyad to become second-highest scorer in T20Is for Bangladesh

T20I skipper Litton Das became the second-highest run-getter in T20Is for Bangladesh during the Tigers' first Asia Cup game, against Hong Kong, at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi today.
Litton started his 111th T20I game with 2,437 career runs beside his name, needing eight more to overtake retired Mahmudullah Riyad (2,444 runs in 141 matches) in order to move to the second spot. The first spot is held by all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who has scored 2551 runs in 129 T20Is.
Litton notched up his 15th T20I half-century -- the most by a Bangladesh batter in the format -- eventually finishing on 59 runs off 39 balls , taking his tally to 2496.
