Biman operates flight with all female crew on Int’l Women’s Day

Demonstrating solidarity with gender equality, women's empowerment, and dignity, Biman Bangladesh Airlines operated a special flight today marking International Women's Day.

The special flight was led by Captain Anita and First Officer Tasnuva, Biman said in a press release.

Flight BG 388 on the Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka route had an all-female cockpit crew, along with five female cabin crew members.
The flight departed from Dhaka airport at 11:20am.

Besides, every operational section of the flight, including passenger check-in unit, passport checking unit, boarding gate, passenger and baggage loading, trim sheet loading, as well as cockpit and cabin crew duties—was managed by Biman's female staffers.
