Ranju Begum is making the most of monsoon as it ushers the blooming of water lilies in the marsh near her home in Turjnimahal village of Khulna’s Rupsha upazila. She spends her mornings collecting the flowers, which she later sells for Tk 10 per 6-8 pieces, helping her earn some extra money for her family. The photo was taken yesterday.
