85 promoted to additional secys

The government today promoted 85 joint secretaries to the rank of additional secretaries, who were deprived of promotion in the last several years.

Ministry of Public Administration issued two gazette notifications to this effect today.

The government also reshuffled five secretary-level officials and gave them new responsibilities.
