Aryan Khan's debut directorial venture "The Ba**ds of Bollywood" has stormed into Netflix's global Top 10 rankings, cementing its place as one of the platform's most talked-about new titles.

According to analytics site FlixPatrol, the satirical drama ranked ninth worldwide on Monday (September 22), climbing one spot from Sunday's (September 21) chart. It also emerged as the No 1 Netflix show in seven countries: India, Bangladesh, the Maldives, Mauritius, Oman, Pakistan, and the UAE. The series has been a constant presence in Netflix's Top 10 since its release on September 18.

In India, it continues to dominate viewership, outpacing other popular titles. Ormax Media reported that the show amassed 4.5 million views last week, almost double the numbers achieved by Kajol's "The Trial", which came second.

The series, known for its sharp commentary on the glitz and vanity of Bollywood, features a powerhouse ensemble cast including Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba, Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, and Gautami Kapoor. Adding to the buzz are cameos by Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh, each playing fictionalised versions of themselves.

While "The Ba**ds of Bollywood" continues to build momentum, it faces tough competition from Netflix's chart leader "Billionaires' Bunker" — the latest Spanish thriller from the creators of "Money Heist". South Korea's fantasy romance "Bon Appétit, Your Majesty" holds the second spot.

Despite the competition, Aryan Khan's directorial debut has already established itself as a global streaming sensation, sparking conversations both for its biting satire and for its star-studded appearances.
