Mosharraf Karim and Neela unite for Eid drama
Mosharraf Karim and Lux star Neelanjona Neela have previously shared the screen in several popular dramas, including “Jamai Bou Oti Chalak”, “Premer Kono Boyosh Nai”, “Rongila Majid”, “Fitfat Babu”, and “Birambonay Babu”. The duo has now teamed up once again for a new drama titled “Bou Pera Dey.”
Written and directed by Saif Ahmed, the comedy drama was recently shot in Pubail, Gazipur. Produced for Eid programming, “Bou Pera Dey” is set to be broadcast on a private television channel during the upcoming festive season.
Speaking about the storyline, director Saif Ahmed said, “The drama revolves around the life of a married couple. Married life is filled with many incidents and unexpected situations, which we have portrayed through humour. What I wanted to convey is that human life is shaped by both happiness and sorrow, and mutual trust and love are essential to living a happy life.”
Sharing his thoughts on acting in “Bou Pera Dey”, Mosharraf Karim said, “The drama is woven around various sweet-and-sour moments of a husband–wife relationship. Filled with humour, it also delivers a beautiful message for the audience.”
Talking about his co-actor, Mosharraf added, “I have worked with Neela before. She puts her heart into her work and sincerely tries to perform well. If she stays focused on acting, she will do even better in the future. I see that potential in her.”
Neelanjona Neela, in turn, praised her co-star, saying, “Mosharraf Karim bhai is an actor of great stature. Despite being such a high-calibre performer, he remains very simple and grounded on set. His natural acting in every scene truly fascinates me. Several dramas featuring the two of us have already gained popularity. As a co-actor, he has always been extremely supportive. His advice on improving performances and understanding characters more deeply has enriched me as an actor.”
She added, “Our mutual understanding as performers has grown stronger over time, which is why this drama has turned out better than our previous collaborations. I hope audiences will enjoy it once it airs.”
