‘Govire’: Shakib Khan-Idhika’s chemistry flourishes in new song

Just a few hours ago, the newest single from Shakib Khan's "Priyotoma" was released. It has already amassed close to 400,000 views on YouTube within this time. "Govire", a wistful love song, has been penned by Zahid Akbar and voiced by Rehaan Rasul and Priyanka Gope. The tune and music have been prepared by Sajid Sarker.

The music video follows an angry Idhika, as she holds a grudge and turns away from a distraught Shakib, who feels extremely guilty to have damaged her kite. The two come across each other in a field, where due to a mistake, Shakib ends up cutting the string of the kite Idhika had been flying. The song's romantic lyricism and quintessential cinematic music follows their relationship, as it grows into something positive.

Since its release, Shakib Khan's "Priyotoma" has been doing exceptionally well, with a majority of the shows running houseful. Directed by Himel Ashraf, the film also stars Idhika Paul, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Lutfor Rahman George, Donn, Shahid Un Nabi, and Elina Shammi.
