10 priests get death threat in Rangpur

At least 10 priests of separate churches in Rangpur district received death threats in letters.

Unidentified miscreants issued the letter last evening, our local correspondent reports quoting district police Additional Supreintendent Abdullah Al Faroque.

Reverend Barnabas Hemron, priest of Baptist Church located in the divisional city received the letter last evening, the ASP said.

The official said police have already tightened security around the churches. “We have already begun to investigate the source of these letters,” the ASP added.
