Jucsu polls: Manual vote counting begins

Vote counting in the Jahangirnagar University Central Students' Union (Jucsu) and hall union elections has finally started.

The counting is being done manually, and the results are being shown on five LED screens.

The counting began around 10:25pm with the votes of Mir Mosharraf Hossain Hall, Jucsu Election Commission member Mafruhi Sattar told The Daily Star.

He added that the counting may continue until tomorrow morning. In total, sixty-seven percent of the votes have been cast, he said.
