20 more Bangladeshis return from India through Darshana check-point
Twenty more Bangladeshis, who got stuck in India due to travel embargo, returned home through Darshana check-point in Chuadanga yesterday.
Sub-inspector Abdul Alim, immigration in-charge of Darshana Joynagar check-point, said 20 Bangladeshis crossed the border with the no objection certificates (NOC) from Bangladesh mission in Kolkata.
Upon their arrival, antigen tests were conducted on them but no one tested positive, reports our Kushtia correspondent.
They have been sent for 14-day mandatory institutional quarantine at the district's Technical Training Centre.
With them, 822 Bangladeshis returned from India through the border in last 27 days. Of them, 16 were diagnosed with Covid-19, SI Abdul Alim said.
