Fakhrul demands justice over Jubo Dal man's death in custody
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today called for justice following the death of Jubo Dal leader Tohidul Islam.
In a post on his verified Facebook page this morning, Fakhrul shared a photo card with the message, "Jubo Dal leader Tohidul Islam Hottar Bichar Chai" (We demand justice for the murder of Jubo Dal leader Tohidul Islam).

According to an inquest report by Kotwali Police Station in Cumilla, the body of Tohidul Islam, 42, bore marks of trauma and injuries.
Family members have alleged that he was tortured to death.
The union-level leader of Jubo Dal was picked up from his home in Italla village in Cumilla Sadar upazila around 2:30am yesterday by four men who introduced themselves as members of the joint forces, according to his elder brother Abul Kalam Azad.
The inquest report said that there were dark, swollen marks consistent with blunt trauma on his abdomen, lower abdomen, the back of his thighs, both arms, and the big toe of his left foot.
