Deepal enters Bangladesh’s EV market with L07 and S07 models

Deepal, a subsidiary of Changan Automobile, has officially entered the Bangladeshi electric vehicle (EV) market with the introduction of two models—the L07 sedan and the S07 SUV. The company launched these vehicles as part of its expansion into the growing EV sector, aiming to offer an alternative to existing options in the market.

The Deepal L07 is a mid-size sedan equipped with a 190 kW (255 HP) rear-mounted electric motor and a 66.8 kWh ternary lithium NMC battery. The manufacturer claims a range of 540 km under the NEDC testing cycle.

The Deepal S07, a mid-size SUV, features a 160 kW (215 HP) rear-mounted motor and a 79.97 kWh ternary lithium NMC battery, with a stated range of 485 km (NEDC).
Deepal has introduced competitive pricing for early adopters, with the L07 priced at BDT 59.90 lakh and the S07 at BDT 64.90 lakh for the first 100 customers. The vehicles have been developed in collaboration with Changan, Huawei, and CATL, integrating EV technology that aims to cater to a broader customer base.
