Deputy commissioners of all 64 districts have protested the Public Administration Reform Commission’s suggestion for changing the ratio of cadres for promotion to deputy secretary.

These developments were confirmed in separate notifications issued by the Ministry of Public Administration.

The interim government is likely to withdraw 39 more deputy commissioners within a day or two.

Deputy commissioners were withdrawn from these districts on August 20
