The soulful renditions of Rabindranath Tagore's songs by artiste Madhubanti Chakraborty left the Chhayanaut audience spellbound on last Friday evening. The auditorium was packed to the brim for the gifted vocalist's debut performance in Bangladesh under the title "Ananto Anondodhara" (Eternal Stream of Joy).
Under the title “Priyo Jonmobhumi”, original tracks of six patriotic songs, penned and tuned by Diptee Samadder Dipu was unveiled at Chhayanaut Sangskritik Bhaban in Dhaka on 30 December. On the occasion, prominent artiste Hasina Momtaz was present as the chief guest while Chhayanaut Guru Dr. FM Razwan Ali, renowned elocutionist Bhaswar Bandopadhyay and singer Mahmudul Hasan were present as special guests.
