Thirty years ago, in 1992, Bangladesh and France signed a cultural cooperation agreement, which was renewed in 2000.

Economic relations between Bangladesh and France have shown a strong reprisal in 2021 after a decrease of 15% in value of our bilateral trade in 2020 caused by the pandemia of Covid-19.

France celebrates its National Day in commemoration of the storming of the Bastille in Paris on the 14th of July 1789.
