Mahmudullah hospitalised with fever, wife seeks prayers

Former Bangladesh cricketer Mahmudullah Riyad has been suffering from a fever and was admitted to a hospital, as his wife requested prayers for him in a Facebook post on Thursday.

"When Allah loves someone, He tests them with trials and hardships. Alhamdulillah for everything. Allah is so kind… Keep him in your prayers," read the post by Jannatul Kawser, Mahmudullah's wife.

It has been learned that the 39-year-old was admitted to a hospital in the capital a few days ago but is now recovering well.
