What is your style mantra?
I like clothes that are comfortable, yet fashionable.
Who are your favourite style icons in Bangladesh and in Hollywood?
In Bangladesh, I would have to say that I'm my own style icon! From Hollywood, however, I admire a lot of celebrities, but no one in particular is my style icon.
Who is your favourite fashion designer?
I admire the works of designers like Sarah Karim, Rina Latif and Humaira Khan, to name a few. If I have to name some of my favourite brands, I would say Zara is one of my go-tos, as it is quite affordable and at the same time, very fashionable. From high-end brands, my favourites are definitely Gucci and Versace.
What is your regular everyday wear?
As I'm a lawyer, I have to wear formal shirts or pants on an everyday basis. But, if I'm going out; for example, to run a quick errand, I usually opt for a kameez.
What is your general party-wear like?
I love wearing knee-length dresses to parties. If it is a traditional event, like a wedding, I generally drape myself in a saree.
What are your favourite accessories?
Shoes are one of my favourite accessories.
What is a must have in your wardrobe?
All types of white clothes, be it dresses, shirts or kameez, are abundant in my wardrobe.
What fashion trend do you dislike?
I personally don't dislike any fashion trend. I believe that everyone has their own preferences when it comes to fashion, and I should not judge someone based on that.
What fashion trend would you say is your favourite?
Any trend that is fashionable and classy is my favourite.
What fashion message would you like to give to the readers?
Everyone should keep their work environment in mind while picking out an outfit. One must always think about the structure of their face and their figure, and thereby, figure out what suits them best.
