BNP applies for 3 venues for Mar 19 council

BNP has applied for three venues to hold its annual council to be held on March 19, the party’s spokesperson Rizvi Ahmed said today.

He made the announcement at a press briefing in the party’s Nayapaltan headquarters.

The party had applied for Suhrawardy Udyan, Bangabandhu International Conference Centre and Engineers’ Institute auditorium for holding the council, Rizvi said.

“We have obtained the permission to use Suhrawardy Udyan from public works ministry. The only permission remaining is that from Dhaka Metropolitan Police,” he said.
