Qatar extends entry visas by one month amid Middle East air traffic disruption
Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has announced a one-month extension for all types of entry visas that have expired or are nearing expiry, effective February 28.
“The extensions will be processed electronically free of charge, without the need to visit relevant departments or submit additional applications,” the ministry said in a statement posted today.
The ministry also noted that individuals with violations dated prior to February 28 must pay the required penalties.
The announcement comes in the wake of conflicts in the Middle East, which have disrupted air traffic.
Many Bangladeshi migrants bound for the region remain stranded, as some of their visas have expired or they were unable to fly on time.
