Tarique Rahman reaches Chattogram

BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman reached Chattogram’s Shah Amanat International Airport from Dhaka at around 7:45pm today, as party leaders and activists gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of him.

From the afternoon, hundreds of leaders and activists from different BNP wings and affiliated organisations began assembling in and around the airport area ahead of his arrival.

At the airport, Tarique was received by BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury; Gias Uddin Quader Chowdhury; Chattogram City Corporation Mayor Dr Shahadat Hossain; former general secretary of Chattogram city unit BNP Abul Hashem Bakkar; and Chattogram city BNP member secretary Nazimur Rahman, among other senior leaders.
