Earthquake felt in Dhaka, surrounding areas

An earthquake was felt in Dhaka and its surrounding areas today at 4:52 PM.

Confirming the matter, Golam Mostafa of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department said that the earthquake had a magnitude of 4 on the Richter scale.

He also stated that the epicenter was around Brahmanbaria district, approximately 105 kilometers from Dhaka.
