Man killed as crude bomb thrown from flyover in Dhaka’s Moghbazar: police

A man was killed after miscreants hurled a crude bomb from a flyover in Dhaka's Moghbazar Wireless Gate area this evening.

The deceased was identified as Saiful.

The incident occurred around 7:00pm.

Inspector (Operations) of Hatirjheel Police Station Md Mohiuddin confirmed the incident to The Daily Star.

"Saiful was having tea at a roadside stall when a crude bomb, hurled from the flyover above, struck him," he said.

He died on the spot, the Inspector added.
