Fire at Lalbagh shop under control

The fire that broke out at a shop in Dhaka's Lalbagh was brought under control this afternoon.

Seven firefighting units brought the blaze under control around 3:30pm, said Anwarul Islam, an official (media wing) of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.

The fire originated around 1:30pm.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, he said.
