Fire in Mirpur leaves 3 dead

Three people were killed as a fire broke out at a house in Dhaka's Mirpur area early today.
The deceased were identified as Kolpona (30), Jannat (12) and Kauser (10).
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. The fire was caused by a mosquito coil at a tin-shed house in Bauniabad area around 4:15am, said Zaman Mia, duty officer of fire service control room. Three houses were burnt.
On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the fire around 5:00am.
Later, they recovered the burnt bodies.
