Alamgir to honour legendary directors in his podcast

"It feels wonderful to reminisce—some memories bring joy, while others carry pain. What I enjoyed most this time was speaking about my personal life and career on a podcast for the very first time," the veteran actor reflected on the experience.

The actor, director and producer was born on February 21, 1947. Beginning his career in 1972, the artiste won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in the film "Ojante" (1996), the Best Supporting Actor for the film Shahoshi Manush Chai (2003), and the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019.
