After premiering in local theatres on May 24 last year, "Fatima" is now set to debut on the OTT platform Bongo on February 20.

The film "Fatima" revolves around the life struggles of a woman, which follows a young woman who leaves her family behind to start a new life in Dhaka. The titular role has been portrayed by Tasnia Farin.

Director Dhrubo Hasan told the media, "The film was originally supposed to be released on OTT last year. However, due to the anti-discrimination student movement and the political turmoil in July, its release was postponed."

In the meantime, "Fatima" was showcased at two film festivals, including the Dhaka International Film Festival. Last year, "Fatima" won an award at Iran's 42nd Fajr International Film Festival.

The production of "Fatima" began nearly eight years ago. However, after its initial start, the project remained on hold for a long period. Overcoming numerous challenges, director Dhrubo Hasan finally completed the film. 

Alongside Farin, the film features performances by musician Pantho Kanai, Tariq Anam Khan, Yash Rohan, Shahed Ali, Sumit Sengupta, and others.
