SRK, Kajol recreate ‘DDLJ’ and ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ magic at Filmfare Awards
Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan made a remarkable comeback as the host of the 2025 Filmfare Awards, creating moments fans won't soon forget.
The 70th edition of the ceremony, held in Ahmedabad on Saturday night, saw "Laapataa Ladies" dominate with an impressive 13 awards. Yet, it was a heartwarming reunion between Shah Rukh and his beloved co-star and friend Kajol that truly stole the spotlight and set social media abuzz.
Kajol took the stage to present an award when the set suddenly transformed—sunflowers bloomed across the stage and backup dancers appeared. Moments later, Shah Rukh Khan made his entrance as the iconic "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" track 'Tujhe Dekha To Ye Jaana Sanam" began to play. He danced to the beloved song before dropping to one knee and offering a rose to Kajol, beautifully recreating the unforgettable scene from the film.
The duo then delighted fans by dancing to "Ye Ladki Hai Deewani" from "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", while the film's director—and the evening's co-host—Karan Johar cheered them on from the sidelines.
Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol remain one of Bollywood's most beloved and enduring on-screen pairs, last seen together in the 2016 film Dilwale. Fans couldn't stop gushing over their timeless chemistry, with one admirer writing, "Their magic never fades. I hope to see them in a new film soon—Karan Johar, please make it happen!" Another viewer, noticing Karan's enthusiasm during the performance, joked, "I'm just disappointed KJo didn't hop on stage and dance with them!"

After Madhuri and Kajol, here's hoping for reunions with Juhi, Aishwarya, and Preity next!"
Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol first shared the screen in "Baazigar" (1993) and went on to star together in hits like "Karan Arjun", "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge", "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham", and "Dilwale". Every film they did in the 1990s went on to become a massive box office success, cementing their status as one of Bollywood's most iconic d
