Shakib Khan signs film with Sun music and Motion Pictures

Megastar Shakib Khan has officially signed a contract today, October 6, with Sun Music and Motion Pictures Ltd, the production house behind several acclaimed and commercially successful films such as "Monpura", "Bishwoshundori", and "Hawa". Every film produced by Sun Music and Motion Pictures Ltd has received state honors as well as international recognition.

Speaking about the new venture, Shakib Khan said that the signing of a two-film contract with the company marks the opening of a new horizon for the film industry. He added, "When we look abroad, we see that leading entrepreneurs regularly invest in mainstream films to strengthen the industry. Respected Anjan Chowdhury and his company, who are deeply devoted to the culture of our country, are truly a blessing for our industry. I extend my heartfelt gratitude and thanks to him. I hope that other companies will also come forward in the same way, for the betterment of our cinema, and will think about the future of this industry."

Commenting on the contract, Anjan Chowdhury, Chairman of Sun Music and Motion Pictures Ltd, said, "Shakib Khan is undoubtedly one of the most popular names in Bangladeshi cinema. For more than 26 years, he has devoted his time and thoughts entirely to films, and for that, he deserves praise. I believe that this collaboration between him and our company will open a new door for the industry."

The contract was signed on behalf of Sun Music and Motion Pictures Ltd by its Chief Executive Officer, Ajoy Kumar Kundu.

It has been learnt that Shakib Khan has already begun shooting for the company's first film, titled "Soldier", directed by Sakib Fahad. Based on patriotism, the sensitive storyline of this film, along with its unique narrative, modern production, and grand scale, promises to offer audiences something new.
