Rumours hint Puja Chery may join ‘Domm’ opposite Afran Nisho and Chanchal Chowdhury

The buzz around Redoan Rony's upcoming film 'Domm' just got louder — and this time, all eyes are on Puja Chery.

Though no official confirmation has come from the director or the actress, Channel i suggests that Puja has been approached — and may have even signed on — to star opposite Afran Nisho and Chanchal Chowdhury in the much-anticipated project. If true, this would mark one of Puja's most high-profile roles to date, pairing her with two of Bangladesh's leading actors.

Set for an Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 release, "Domm" is a survival drama inspired by true events, produced jointly by SVF, Alpha-i Entertainment, and Chorki. Shooting is expected to begin later this month in Kazakhstan.

Director Redoan Rony, returning to the big screen after a long break, said earlier, "Domm is inspired by a true story — a tale of endurance, instinct, and survival."

Lead actor Afran Nisho previously described the project as "challenging but deeply inspiring," while Chanchal Chowdhury called the script "extraordinary" and hinted that the story might surprise audiences.
