Rowan Atkinson’s Netflix comedy ‘Man vs Baby’ set for December release
Netflix has announced "Man vs Baby", a new comedy series starring Rowan Atkinson, premiering globally on December 11, 2025. The four-part series sees Atkinson return as Trevor Bingley, the hapless yet well-meaning character from Man vs Bee, this time caught in a whirlwind of Christmas chaos while caring for a baby in London.
Set against the festive backdrop of the British capital, "Man vs Baby" promises Atkinson's signature mix of slapstick humour, tenderness, and mayhem. The story begins with Trevor working as a quiet school caretaker after his infamous house-sitting disaster. But when he agrees to look after a luxury penthouse over Christmas, his plans for a peaceful holiday quickly unravel. On the last day of term, no one arrives to collect the Baby Jesus from the school nativity play — leaving Trevor responsible for both the penthouse and an actual baby.
Netflix describes the series as "a lighthearted, family-friendly holiday story about responsibility, chaos, and laughter."
First-look stills reveal Atkinson's trademark comic timing — feeding two babies at once, attempting to calm crying fits under a Christmas tree, and balancing fatherhood with farce in true Trevor Bingley fashion.
The show also stars Alanah Bloor as Maddy, Trevor's daughter, taking over the role from India Fowler. "Man vs Baby" reunites Atkinson with longtime collaborator Will Davies, who co-wrote the series, and David Kerr, who directs. The show is produced by HouseSitter Productions.
With its festive charm and Atkinson's timeless physical comedy, "Man vs Baby" looks set to become one of the season's most anticipated holiday releases.
