Puja Chery confirmed to lead ‘Tagar’

Today, the first official look at the upcoming film "Tagar" was released to reveal Puja Chery as the heroine. Moreover, Ador Azad will star opposite Puja in this Aalok Hasan directorial.
The film's announcement came at the start of the new year, with Parthana Fardin Dighi initially cast as the lead actress. However, before filming commenced, it was confirmed that Puja Chery would take on the role of the leading lady.
"Tagar" is set to feature performances by Azad Abul Kalam, Rosey Siddiqui, Sumon Anwar, LR Khan Shimanto, and many others, and filming is scheduled to begin on February 25.
Puja Chery spoke to The Daily Star about the project and stated, "I have collaborated with both the director and Ador Azad on previous films. At first, I hesitated to join the project due to the casting changes in the teaser announcement."
"However, after the team convinced me and I got a chance to review the story, I was intrigued. During the script reading session, I realised the story has a unique depth that appealed to me."
The story and screenplay of "Tagar" have been crafted by the AR Movie Network team, with dialogues penned by Mamunur Rashid Tanim. The production company has confirmed that the film is set for release during the upcoming Eid ul-Azha.
