Md Samsul Huda is set to direct a political thriller titled "Golaap". The film was officially announced late last month with the unveiling of its first-look poster, featuring lead actor Nirab Hossain. However, the identity of the lead actress wasn't revealed at the time. It has now been confirmed that Pori Moni will star alongside Nirab in "Golaap".

Speaking to The Daily Star, Pori Moni confirmed her involvement in the project. "I will be portraying the character of Rupa in this film. Rupa will dance, fall in love, and even take part in action sequences."

"When I first heard the story, I was drawn to the character. The film is packed with unexpected twists, and I believe they will surprise the audience," she added.
