Jovan-Niha reunite for Valentine’s Day special drama

A new Valentine’s Day special drama titled “Je Kotha Hoyni Bola” is set to premiere this season, starring Jovan and Naznin Nahar Niha. The romantic musical drama has been directed by Jakaria Showkhin and will be released on CMV’s official YouTube channel on Valentine’s Day.

The story revolves around Kabya (Jovan), a young man living with an unspoken love. A poet and singer by nature, Kabya earns his living by performing regularly at a restaurant. Since his college days, he has been in love with Kuhu (Niha) but never finds the courage to confess his feelings. When Kuhu and her family leave the area, Kabya’s silent love remains unresolved. Years later, fate brings them face to face again, rekindling Kabya’s long-buried emotions. Yet once more, he fails to speak his heart, choosing instead to express his feelings through poetry and music.

Speaking about the project, Jovan said the drama is the result of long and careful teamwork. He noted that audiences have always appreciated his on-screen pairing with Niha and praised director Showkhin’s vision, adding that the entire team worked without compromise to deliver a strong Valentine’s Day release.

Niha described the story as simple, gentle and relatable, saying such narratives resonate most with viewers. She expressed confidence that the understated love story would connect emotionally with audiences.

Director Jakaria Showkhin said the project is essentially a musical drama, featuring various musical elements along with two original songs. According to him, Jovan and Niha were the perfect choices for the characters, and he believes viewers will enjoy the musical storytelling this Valentine’s Day.

The drama features two new songs: the first written and composed by Someshwar Oli, and the second penned by Ahmed Rizvi with music composed by Nazir Mahmud.
