Crime drama 'Agochora' teaser unleashes dark secrets of Old Dhaka

The much-anticipated trailer of the crime thriller series "Agochora" directed by Siddiq Ahamed, was unveiled yesterday, promising an intense narrative brought to life by actors Fazlur Rahman Babu, Zakia Bari Mamo, and Intekhab Dinar in the lead roles. The gripping 10-episode series is set against the backdrop of the underworld in old Dhaka, offering a riveting exploration of crime and politics.

 

The trailer offers a tantalising glimpse into the world of "Agochora," showcasing Fazlur Rahman Babu and Intekhab Dinar in compelling portrayals of gang leaders. Zakia Bari Mamo takes on the role of Monica, adding an intriguing layer to the storyline. The series revolves around the life of an ordinary boy who finds himself ensnared in the labyrinth of underworld dealings and politics. With only two options left – kill or be killed – the series delves into his harrowing journey.

Drawing inspiration from the story by Mohammad Nazim Uddin, "Agochora" serves as a reflection on how an unsuspecting young man is unwittingly drawn into the treacherous world of politics and the criminal underworld.

The ensemble cast of "Agochora" includes Ali Wahab Showhardo, Sharaf Ahmed Zibon, Morshed Mishu, and Rakib Hossain Evon, among others. 

The series will be released in Binge on August 10.
