Aamir Khan, who turns 60 this Friday (March 14), made headlines by publicly confirming his relationship with Gauri Spratt, a long-time friend of 25 years. In a press meet held to mark his birthday, Aamir introduced his partner to the media, sharing, "Gauri and I met 25 years ago, and now, we are partners. We are very serious and committed to each other. We've been together for a year and a half."

The actor further revealed that he had introduced Gauri to his close friends Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan at his Mumbai home just the day before, giving fans a glimpse into his personal life, which he often keeps private.

Gauri, who works in production, has been a significant presence in Aamir's life, with the actor admitting he serenades her daily. During the interaction, Aamir fondly recalled his iconic role in "Lagaan", stating, "Bhuvan ko apni Gauri mil gayi," (Bhuvan finally found his soulmate, Gauri)  in reference to the character played by Gracy Singh in the film, who was also named Gauri.

The actor in a lighter moment, sang a few lines from "Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein" for Gauri, showcasing the personal and sentimental side of their relationship.

Addressing his age and the prospect of marriage, Aamir reflected, "I don't know if marriage would be appropriate for me at the age of 60," but expressed gratitude for the support of his children. "My kids are very happy," he said, emphasising how fortunate he feels to maintain strong relationships with his ex-wives.

Aamir was previously married to film producer Reena Dutta, with whom he shares two children, Junaid and Ira Khan. His second marriage to director Kiran Rao lasted 16 years before their separation in 2021. Despite the split, Aamir and Kiran continue to co-parent their son, Azad, maintaining what he describes as a close and supportive family dynamic.
