30 Bands, epic performances, unforgettable experiences await at Dhaka Summer Con

Dhaka Summer Con 2023, the country's largest pop culture festival, is generating tremendous excitement as it gears up to take place for three consecutive days at Hall 3 and 4 of ICCB from July 13 to 15. Organised by MediaQuest Bangladesh, the festival promises a diverse range of entertainment elements and activities.

Over the course of the three-day event, a total of 30 bands will take the stage at Dhaka Summer Con 2023. The first day, July 13, will feature performances from eight exclusive bands, including Old Dhaka Diaries, Firoze Jong, Indalo, Bangla Five, Level Five, Owned, Odd Signature, and Dads in the Park. The lineup also includes Hathirpool Sessions, K-Pop Performance, Rayhan Islam Shuvro, and more.

On the second day, attendees can enjoy captivating performances by Messianic Era, Naive, Encore, Subconscious, Aftermath, Shonar Bangla Circus, Ashes, Brahmaputra, Cryptic Fate, and Artcell. Additionally, a thrilling rap battle will be a special attraction.

The final day of the festival, July 15, will showcase performances by AK Rahul, Apekkhik, Mechanix, Karnival, Black, Arbovirus, Avoid Rafa, and Warfaze. Attendees can also look forward to mind-blowing hip-hop performances by Black Zang and Shafayat.

Nachiketa bringing new song for Bangladesh

Tariqul Sumon, Convener of Dhaka Summer Con 2023 and co-founder of MediaQuest Bangladesh, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are proud to organize this comprehensive festival for the first time, providing a platform for diverse forms of entertainment. Dhaka Summer Con will not only feature beloved superhero performances and interactions with popular cosplay artists but also serve as a meeting point for the country's most renowned music bands."

Dhaka Summer Con unveiled its official theme song, titled "Escape." This marks the first-ever theme song composed exclusively for a pop culture festival in the country. The renowned heavy metal band, Mechanix, collaborated with superstar musicians Shishir Ahmed, Raef Al Hasan Rafa, and Black Zang to create this unforgettable anthem for the event.
