Lumin’s musical film ‘Firey Esho’ premieres in Dhaka

Lumin, lead vocalist of the iconic rock band Feedback, premiered his musical film "Firey Esho" in Dhaka yesterday, with Universal Medical College Hospital hosting the event at the Empyrean Hotel.

Produced by Studio Aram Kedar, the film—starring Lumin alongside Nilanjana Nil—will soon stream on Prothom Alo's Chorki platform. The event drew prominent cultural figures, journalists, and representatives from the medical and education sectors.

Hospital Managing Director Dr Ashis Kumar Chakraborty said the programme was designed to add a new dimension to Bangla cultural practice and inspire young audiences toward healthy entertainment.

Speaking at the premiere, Lumin expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended, adding that Fuad Nasser Babu, Manam Ahmed, Bappa Mazumder, and BAMBA president Hamin Ahmed "came without a moment's hesitation" to join the event. "I am so thankful to all of you for being here," he said.

Hospital officials, corporate head Nita Chakraborty, film director Rajibul Hossain, and other prominent musicians and cultural figures were present. The programme concluded with the hospital presenting Lumin a crest and a complimentary master health check-up.
