Question paper leak: Coaching centres, social networks under watch
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid today said the law enforcing agencies have kept the coaching centers under surveillance to prevent question paper leakage ahead of the upcoming Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations.
The minister came up with the information while talking to reporters after a meeting over holding the upcoming HSC and its equivalent examinations in a peaceful and copying-free environment at the Secretariat.
"There is no chance of question paper leak this year as the government has taken all-out preparations and is taking cautious measures in distributing and delivering the question papers across the country during the examination," Nahid said.
Besides, the law enforcing agencies are keeping an eye on the BG Press as well as on the social networks, he also said.
"If anyone tries to spread rumours over question paper leak in the social networks including Facebook, the Bangladesh Telecommunication and Regulatory Commission (BTRC) will immediately suspend the site," the minister said.
However, separate control rooms will be set up in the Ministry and all the educational boards during the examination hours.
The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations will be held across the country on April 3 and will continue till June 9.
