Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid today once again warned of legal actions if schools fail to return additional tuition and registration fees collected from SSC examinees by the next seven working days.

"If the money is not refunded by the next seven days, legal actions will be taken no matter how powerful the managing committees of the schools are," the minister said at a press briefing in Dhaka.

"We have been respectful towards them but that doesn't mean we cannot take legal steps," the minister warned.

Earlier on February 3, Nahid asked the educational institutions to return within seven working days the additional money they had collected in tuition and registration fees for the SSC examinations.
