New clip shows further tales of Rajon’s torture

Further details on how 13-year-old Rajon was tortured were revealed as another video clip surfaced on social media.

In the almost two-minute long clip, Rajon was seen tied to a pole with two people bullying him verbally and beating him at intervals in presence of some bystanders.

The clip shows one of the torturers hitting Rajon with a stick while another slapping the kid multiple times. Throughout, the torturers were taunting and bullying Rajon.

In the video, Rajon is seen asking for some water, but the clip ends before showing if he was actually given any.

Rajon died of brain hemorrhage and his body bore around 64 injury marks, according to an autopsy report. Another video of the brutal assault on the minor boy was filmed by a laughing aide and later exposed to the social media – which sparked outrage throughout Bangladesh and abroad.

A group of brutes led by Kamrul beat the boy in Kumargaon Bus Stand area of Sylhet on the morning of July 8. His “crime”, they claimed, was stealing.
