The body of an imam was found inside a mosque in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj today.

Police recovered the body of Didarul Islam, 26, from inside Narayandia Baitul Jalal Jame Mosque located at Mallikpara this morning, said Moniruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Sonargaon Police Station. 

He was son of Aftab Farazi, resident of Khulna city’s Rajapur area, the OC told our local correspondent.

The reason behind the murder could not be known yet, the OC said.
